Camerons awarded Chartered Building Company (CBC) Status

Camerons have been awarded Chartered Building Status, by the Chartered Institute of Building, thereby becoming the first Contractor's in Jersey to have achieved this qualification.

Becoming a Chartered Building Company marks Camerons out as a Company committed to quality service, integrity of conduct and with a professional concern for Client's needs as well as providing benchmarks for our operational standards.

Clients are encouraged to employ a Chartered Building Company thereby ensuring that their projects are completed with professionalism, speed and efficiency, and to a very high standard.

The Scheme requires Camerons to abide by and adhere to Chartered Building Company Rules and a Professional Code of Conduct as decreed by the Privy Council of the Chartered Institute of Building.

The reward is recognition of the personal sacrifices made by many of Camerons' staff in attaining, and committed to attaining, Chartered Status through part-time study. This includes Marc Burton and Bob Matthews.

Further, the Status enhances the links that Camerons enjoy with the CIOB. The Jersey Group has been chaired for the last three years by Marc Burton, and has seen numerous members of Camerons Staff sit on the Management Committee, including Bob Matthews, Simon Matthews and Harvey Gooch.
